Spain, the world’s third biggest wine producer, supplied about 86 million euros worth of wines to China last year, a drop of 34% compared with 2019.

Both its bottled and bulk wine exports to China slumped due to the country’s diminished demand, but Spanish wine’s value for money reputation might give it an opportunity to fill some of the Australian wine void.
