Vinexpo India

Date: September 10–11
Location: Mumbai

Vinexpo India is a professional wine and spirits exhibition organised by Vinexposium, the global wine exhibition group.

Vinexpo India is a professional wine and spirits trade exhibition organised by global drinks exhibition group Vinexposium in India. It is also one of the few wine fairs in the country with a clearly international profile. The event targets wineries, spirits brands, importers, distributors, as well as buyers from the hospitality and restaurant sectors, providing an important business platform for international drinks companies seeking to enter the Indian market.

Vinexpo first entered India in 2021 and is typically held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The exhibition focuses on connecting global wine and spirits brands with India’s distribution network. Positioned as a B2B trade event, it primarily serves importers, wholesalers, and buyers from the hospitality and foodservice sectors.

Last year, however, the exhibition scheduled for October 3–4, 2025 in Mumbai was abruptly cancelled just weeks before its planned opening. The organiser said the event had encountered unspecified “technical issues” in India that could affect the quality and execution of the show. After reviewing the situation, the organiser concluded that conditions at the time would not meet the expectations of exhibitors and visitors.

Similar to ProWine Mumbai, exhibitors at Vinexpo India mainly come from major wine-producing regions in Europe, the Americas and Oceania. Through tastings, industry forums and business matchmaking sessions, the exhibition aims to facilitate cooperation between international brands and the Indian market.

ProWine Mumbai

Date: November 18–19
Location: Mumbai

ProWine Mumbai is one of the most important wine and spirits trade exhibitions in India and serves as the South Asian branch of the global ProWein World exhibition network.

The event is organised by Messe Düsseldorf India in partnership with Indian wine consultancy and event organiser All Things Nice.

With wine consumption in India continuing to grow, the exhibition has become an important platform for international drinks brands seeking entry into the market.

Participants include wineries and brands from Europe, Oceania and the Americas, alongside Indian importers, hospitality groups, sommeliers and industry media.

The exhibition features masterclasses, industry forums, tastings and cocktail competitions, as well as themed sections such as ProSpirits (spirits zone) and ProWine Zero (low- and no-alcohol zone).

According to organisers, the 2025 edition hosted 213 exhibitors from 21 countries, attracting around 5,485 professional visitors, including importers, distributors, retailers and hospitality buyers.
