Mainland China
China Food & Drinks Fair
Date: March 26–28
Location: Chengdu

Known as the “barometer” of China’s food industry, the China Food & Drinks Fair was founded in 1955 and is one of the country’s largest and longest-running trade exhibitions.
Each edition typically covers more than 100,000 square metres, hosting around 3,000 exhibitors and attracting over 150,000 professional buyers.
Products include baijiu, wine, spirits, beer and a wide range of food and beverage categories.
Notably, four to five days before the official exhibition, numerous companies and wine brands organise satellite exhibitions in five-star hotels across Chengdu. These “hotel shows,” as they are commonly called within the industry, can be just as lively as the main exhibition.
The fair is held twice a year: the spring edition in Chengdu and an autumn edition that rotates between different cities, usually in October.
Although the location of the 2026 autumn edition has not yet been officially announced, industry rumours suggest it may take place in Nanjing.

The internationally recognised natural wine fair RAW WINE, which focuses on biodynamic and natural wines, is also held alongside the event, introducing global natural wine producers to the South China market.

The exhibition maintains cooperation with wine industry authorities and associations from 72 wine-producing countries and has established business connections with more than 500,000 wine-related companies worldwide.
Its buyer network spans 58 countries and regions and 31 provinces across China, including more than 130,000 wine distributors, 20,000 wine importers, and 18,000 food importers.
While the exhibition’s main base is Guangzhou, it also organises events in other Chinese cities — including hotel exhibitions during the China Food & Drinks Fair in Chengdu.
