The second annual 67 Pall Mall Global Wine Communicator Awards named six winners on September 5 in London, recognizing achievements across audio, video and written media.

This year’s competition received 577 entries from 193 participants in 22 countries, with only 23 finalists advancing to the final round. Submissions ranged from 90-second short videos to articles of more than 4,000 words.

Australian journalist Felicity Carter, based in Germany, won the Best Audio Communication Award. In the United States, Desiree Harrison-Brown was honored for a short video, while Illinois-based YouTubers Vincent and Lisa Anter took the long video prize. British freelance writer Marianna Hunt won for short-form writing, Julia Harding MW was recognized for her long-form work at JancisRobinson.com, and British writer Jamie Goode received the Overall Communicator of the Year award.

“This year’s competition once again shows the strength of wine communication around the world,” said founder Richard Hemming MW. “It wasn’t only the high standard of the entries that impressed, but their creativity and diversity. It took several rounds of robust debate for our judges to decide who should ultimately prevail.”

Based in Australia, multi award-winning wine writer and champagne expert Tyson Stelzer says: “In two decades of judging, this has been one of the most rigorously judged competitions with which I have ever been involved. Every entry was scrutinised by multiple judges and offered several opportunities to be pushed forward or knocked back. The entries were extensive, the competition was fierce, and all finalists and winners should be mighty proud of their achievements.”

Judge Agnese Gintere, a YouTuber, said the diversity of the panel contributed to the outcome. “It was an honour to judge alongside some of the top wine personalities at the 67 Pall Mall Wine Communicator Awards 2025. It also felt truly unique, not only because all the judges came from different geographical areas and backgrounds, but also because a meaningful exchange of views led to thoughtful results.”

Other judges included British wine writer Andrew Jefford, India’s only Master of Wine Sonal Holland and Chair of judge Elaine Chukan Brown.

The awards are organized by 67 Pall Mall, a London-based wine members’ club founded in 2015 with venues in London, Verbier, Singapore, and a wine bar in Hong Kong.

The club, known for its low-markup wine lists and professional sommelier team, has continued its global expansion despite a challenging market. It will open a 1,330-square-meter venue in Shanghai next year in a historic 1925 French villa, offering more than 5,000 wines, including 1,000 available by the glass, from over 40 countries.

Further openings are planned in Melbourne, Bordeaux and Beaune in 2026.
