The Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair has been a leading trade event linking the tax-free wine hub Hong Kong with the adjacent Asian neighbours.

It is scheduled to be held annually in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre since 2008. This year’s information has not been released but the date is set to be in November.

Although the wine fair attracted 1,075 exhibitors from 30 regions and more than 15,000 buyers in 2019, its 2020 edition was postponed several times to November 2021 due to travel restrictions under the pandemic.

To help companies capture more business opportunities last year, the HKTDC has added a new B2C wine exhibition in August with 4 other exhibitions, and a physical-digital trade fair in December. The August’s B2C event, along with 4 other fairs, drew more than 370,000 visitors and over 900 exhibitors.
