Bordeaux in Chateauneuf du pape?
Another novelty at the fair is the strange marriage between Bordeaux and Rhone Valley’s Chateauneuf du Pape.
Spotted at the fair is a Vallee Hapelle Vin de Bordeaux red wine bottled in a Chateauneuf-du-pape bottle.
This is of course an obvious fake as no legitimate producers would fill their Bordeaux reds in a a wine bottle engraved with Chateauneuf du pape. Still, that did not stop producers of counterfeiters.
