Louis Roederer, the esteemed Champagne house, has unveiled its latest multi-vintage blend, Collection 245, which is now available in Hong Kong through its exclusive importer, Links Concept.

Collection 245 marks the 245th blend since the Champagne House’s founding in 1776. This blend combines grapes from the 2020 harvest, sourced from meticulously selected plots in Champagne’s finest terroirs with a focus on sustainable viticulture. It also includes oak-aged Reserve wines and wine from the Perpetual Reserve, which infuses freshness into the more mature harvests.

The precise composition of Collection 245 includes 35% from the house’s Perpetual Reserve created in the 2012 vintage, 10% oak-aged Reserve wine, and 55% from the 2020 vintage.

The 2020 harvest was notable for its dry, continental conditions, producing juicy, well-structured, aromatic grapes. These grapes contribute 55% of the blend, offering dense, full-bodied wines with a perfect balance of substance and freshness. The Pinot grapes from the Montagne vineyards and the Meuniers excelled in this hot year, while the Chardonnay, with its very fresh character, became the backbone of the blend.

Aged for nearly four years in Louis Roederer’s cellars, Collection 245 delivers a complex symphony of flavors and intensity. This new bespoke composition emphasizes the art of blending terroirs, origins, and wines.

Collection 245 is available in Hong Kong through Links Concept, priced at HKD 470 per bottle.
